You unveiled a gleam of truth,
the precious sweetness of freedom,
for too short of an instant.
Once the bliss was gone,
I craved more, I cried
like a lover longing for love.
I pined. I yearned.
My emptiness seemed emptier,
a bottomless void
filled with pain and despair.
You showed me that love
was longing for me
since the dawn of eternity.
I had to bear the pain
and quest for a way back
to that moment divine.
Hey Yol,
Love the poem, I can relate to this very much at the moment in time, as I keep getting glimpses of that love then the physical steps in and BAM it disapears
Thanks for your comment. I’m glad you like it. Hopefully those glimpses will accumulate and we’ll eventually be there full on!
I feel like this poem was written for me!
I have been on an extraordinary inner journal to find the route of a certain attachement and have found that I was actually tracing my way back to the Creative Spirit….
Great to hear that! Thanks for your comment. Many blessings.
